J. Kevin Stockstill graduated from Louisiana State University with a business degree. He then followed in his father's footsteps and chose law as his profession, receiving his law degree from Loyola University.
Mr. Stockstill is also a graduate of the nationally recognized Trial Lawyers College, a Wyoming-based nonprofit organization founded by prominent attorney Gerry Spence. The Trial Lawyers College devotes itself to training lawyers who uphold the strong principles of the jury system and who choose to represent the accused.
In addition to his criminal defense practice, Mr. Stockstill also maintains a civil litigation practice as well. In his civil litigation practice, he represents people who have experienced serious personal injury, the wrongful death of a family member, and those whose civil rights have been violated by police misconduct.
